Forward in Faith

December 16, 2007, the church voted to build an addition to include a new worship center and additional education space.  The Master Plan Team continued their work with the architect and completed the schematic design phase.  Meanwhile the Finance Committee recommended that we conduct a capital campaign in the fall of 2008 utilizing the Forward in Faith program.

During this emphasis we focused on the vision for future ministry God has put in our hearts. We were challenged with the question:  What am I willing to do with my time, talents and treasure to make God's vision a reality for our church?  The defining characteristic of the campaign was the Hearing from God emphasis which centered around prayer and fasting.  Built on the belief that we need to hear from God individually, God turned this into one of the most spiritually rewarding and enriching times in the life of our church family.  God moved in people's hearts to
give generously and sacrificially.
