Being Faithful to the Bible

We believe the Bible is God's inspired Word, the final authority for faith and practice. It is God's revelation of Himself and His ways to us. It teaches how to know Him, what to believe and how to live. The Bible is relevant to the needs of all people at all times and to the specific problems of contemporary living. Therefore, we are committed to equipping Christians, through the preaching and teaching of God's Word, to follow Christ in every sphere of life.

Authentic Worship

We believe authentic worship is God-centered and life transforming. It fuels the fire of devotion in the heart, facilitates constant renewal, and motivates believers to sacrificial service. Both corporate and individual worship are vital to spiritual health. We also believe genuine worship is a strong witness to unbelievers. Therefore, we give priority to planing and facilitating Spirit-led worship of the one true God. We seek a blend of the old and the new.

We Are 'Great Commission' Oriented

We believe God has called us to give priority to His command to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:18-20), and to our role as His witnesses (Acts 1:8). Jesus came to seek and to save the lost. He loves them and calls us to do the same. Therefore, we seek to be effective locally and involved worldwide. We will focus on leading people to Christ...one life at a time.

Lifelong Spiritual Growth and Development

We believe it is God's will that every believer grow to maturity in Christ. Therefore, we provide ongoing opportunities for spiritual growth and equipping for service.

Service

We believe God calls us to demonstrate the attitude of Jesus who came 'not to be served, but to serve' (Matthew 20:28; Philippians 2:5-8). Therefore we seek to develop our God-given gifts and talents for service to Christ and His church (1 Peter 4:10). We also believe in manifesting the love and grace of God in practical ways in the community and throughout the world.

We are Family Affirming

We believe the family is God's primary unit for ministry. Therefore, we seek to provide an atmosphere, which strengthens marriages and families. We are committed to vibrant youth and children's ministries.

Meaningful Relationships

We believe God has called us to live out His command to 'love one another' (John 13:34). Therefore we stress healthy, loving relationships which build up and encourage believers, empower our witness to the world, and make serving together a joy.

Prayer-Guided Faith

We believe in encouraging a prayer-guided faith that is willing to take bold risks. God has called us to be a people of prayer. He has revealed Himself as the God who hears and answers prayer (Matthew 7:7-11). Therefore, our ministries and activities will be characterized by a reliance on prayer combined with faith and obedience (Hebrews 11:6).

We are Growth Responsive

We believe God wills us to reach as many people as possible with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. Therefore, we will make decisions which will facilitate numerical growth and trust God to give the increase.
